Prosper Candles is a part of the ministry of Dallas Christian Women’s Job Corps (DCWJC). Each class hand pours their signature scent and names the candle as a reflection of this season of their lives. All proceeds from Prosper Candles support future classes of DCWJC women. 

 

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

DCWJC offers a Christian environment in which women are equipped for life and employment. DCWJC serves women who need help moving from dependency to self-sufficiency due to unemployment, illness, incarceration, death of spouse, or lack of job experience. We aim to develop skills in each woman through three cornerstones:

  1. Bible Study to empower each woman to build a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
  2. Job Skills Training including computer skills, resume writing, interview skills, and goal planning
  3. Life Skills Training including relationship building, communication skills, and parenting skills
